Dr. Lauren Gerardi is a licensed clinical psychologist with experience treating adults, adolescents, and children as young as three years old with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns. Dr. Gerardi practices a style of psychotherapy which focuses on building a warm, empathic relationship between therapist and client, and on helping the client to gain a better understanding of their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
When working with adult clients, Dr. Gerardi focuses on providing a warm and understanding environment free of judgment, and on helping each client achieve his or her own goals and fulfill their potential. When working with children and teens, the focus is on building a collaborative relationship, not only with the child but with his or her parents as well, in order to help the family as a whole function in the happiest and healthiest manner possible.
During your initial meeting with Dr. Gerardi, you will be given the opportunity to share whatever concerns have led you to seek treatment.
